The Role
Coogee PS is seeking a highly motivated and efficient Deputy Principal to join their team. In collaboration with the Principal and members of the administrative team, the Deputy Principal provides educational leadership in the school and the community by developing and promoting the School Vision and facilitating workforce effectiveness.
The students of Coogee PS are at the centre of every decision we make. Students are engaged in a stimulating learning program that builds upon existing skills and knowledge and motivates them to pursue goals and achieve their potential.
The successful applicant will utilise their skills and knowledge to support the delivery of the School Business Plan (here), especially in the Kindergarten – Year 2 context. They will be able to clearly display an understanding of and commitment to the following practices principles:
- High expectations for every student promotes intellectual, behavioural and social and emotional engagement.
- A supportive and productive learning environment promotes inclusion and collaboration.
- Differentiated and engaging teaching that follows a structured, rigorous approach including quality feedback improves student outcomes.
