The Role
As the School Officer you will be the first point of contact for our school and be responsible for completing administrative duties including greeting all visitors, answering the telephone, and responding to routine enquiries and requests for information. Suitable applicants should have a friendly, positive, and caring attitude and possess the qualities to promote excellence within our school and to interact with parents and the wider community.
Suitable applicants should possess attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines and work well within a team environment. You should also model effective and quality customer and administrative support service delivery and have strong interpersonal and communication skills to work in collaboration with administration team, school support staff, our school community and teaching staff.
School Officers support student-related activities such as assisting with student enrolment procedures and operating a range of software packages particularly databases and word processing. Suitable applicants provide assistance to other members of the school administration team with maintaining school databases, records, and management information systems to ensure they are accurate and up to date. Stock taking experience would be desirable. You will be required to operate a range of software packages particularly databases and word processing. Experience with RM Finance, RM Billing, Human Resources Management Information System (HRMIS), Student Information System (SIS), and Microsoft products will be highly regarded.
Our school Officers work in partnership with the Manager Corporate Services to promote the school within the local community. They work collaboratively to support engagement with the community and other stakeholders. This role includes the production of a range of school publications such as business plans, annual reports, newsletters, and advertisements.
