We are seeking to establish a pool of Kindergarten to Year 6 Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2025. The Role
Suitable applicants will promote, model and maintain high expectations and adhere to evidence based whole school approaches. Beenyup PS educators should pursue excellence in teaching and use high impact teaching strategies, and embrace a culture of coaching and collaboration. Teachers at Beenyup participate actively in weekly collaborative team meetings to complete shared systematic planning, teaching and assessing, consistent parent communications and analyse data to inform planning and monitoring of student progress. Suitable applicants will use ongoing assessment to provide feedback to students, monitor progress and collaboratively plan high quality differentiated plan teach assess cycles to address student needs with a focus on ensuring year on year growth.
Suitable applicants should be passionate, highly motivated educators who are committed to improving literacy and numeracy outcomes in conjunction with social emotional learning, for every child, every day, through our whole school approaches, high impact teaching strategies and explicit and direct instruction approaches. Applicants will need to be committed to implementing Beenyup Primary’s whole school programs and practices. These include Sounds Write, Heggerty, Spelling Mastery and the Science of Reading approach, Positive Behaviour Support, and high impact teaching strategies, as well as approaches that follow whole school policies, procedures and our instructional model including daily reviews. It is highly desirable that suitable applicants exhibit transferable skills for implementation of these.
Applicants will ideally be committed to the school’s vision of building brighter futures together and possess the capacity to establish strong, positive and productive relationships with students, peers and the wider school community. Knowledge, understanding, experience and openness to learning and implementing Classroom Management Strategies (CMS), Zones of Regulation and a restorative practice approach are highly desirable.
