Bletchley Park Primary School (PS) is a large level 6 school with approximately 700 students. We frequently out perform like Schools in National Assessment Program - Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN). The Role
The role of the Education Assistant - Lead (EAL) is a position supporting the Manager Corporate Services and Deputy Principal in leading and managing the Education Assistant workforce at Bletchley Park PS. As a member of the leadership team, the EAL will work under limited guidance and will be an important voice in strategic planning and catering for our students’ needs. The role will involve offering advice and expertise in their relevant area, coaching and modelling good practice for other Education Assistants as well as conducting performance development processes for Education Assistants. For this reason, the successful applicant should operate collaboratively and be able to build and maintain effective team-based relationships.
This role will include the delivery of planned educational programs and the collection and reporting of data at a whole school level. The successful applicant will ideally be highly professional, organised and display excellent communication skills, drawing on these attributes when working with staff and the school community. The EAL will need to be able to perform tasks which require discretion in problem solving, decision making and choosing methods and processes to achieve outcomes. It is highly desirable that the successful applicant has strong interpersonal skills and experience in the coordination and implementation of intervention programs that support improved educational outcomes for students.
