The Role
As a Digital Technologies and Media Teacher you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students through creative and forward-thinking approaches to learning. You will be responsible for integrating technology into the classroom and fostering a culture of curiosity and critical thinking. We are looking for an applicant who models excellence in teaching, evidence based planning and effective instructional practice to support the learning needs of all students. They should set high standards whilst delivering a rigorous curriculum which is both challenging and rewarding. Programs will be relevant and link to ‘real’ world experiences with a focus on deep learning.
The successful applicant should have a focus on providing deep learning, be data literate and possess effective classroom management skills. They will ideally stay up to date with industry trends and advancements to ensure relevance to the curriculum. They will collaborate with colleagues and implement interdisciplinary projects and initiatives in alignment with the school’s focus on 21st century learning. As a foundation school, the flexibility and ability to teach in other areas is highly desirable.
