The Role
John Butler PC is seeking to appoint a passionate and committed Deputy Principal to join our senior leadership team. We are seeking an applicant with extensive knowledge and high performance within the John Butler PC context.
The Deputy Principal should provide curriculum support and management of student behaviours in alignment with JBPC Policies and Procedures and implement College reform initiatives that help support effective learning for students with diverse needs.
Our senior leadership team work together to provide guidance, support, and training across the entire College. We are seeking an effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and experience in developing individualised learning programs to cater for all needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Cluster Lead (Instructional Leadership) K-Yr. 2:
Support allocated classroom teachers to implement the school's exemplary methods and ensure high fidelity in all pedagogical practices. This includes instructional coaching, capacity-building, and professional development aligned with teachers' goals, helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Student Case Lead (Student Services) K-Yr.2:
Be a champion for student success by leading high-quality case management for students requiring additional support. Using your deep understanding of student learning, well-being, and behaviour support, you will work closely with teachers, students, and families to establish and maintain systems that promote attendance in an inclusive and supportive environment.
Curriculum and Assessment Leadership:
Oversee curriculum design and ensure assessment strategies align with the school's goals for academic achievement. Guide teachers in implementing effective curriculum practices while driving excellence in assessment methods to improve student outcomes.
Project Lead (School Improvement):
Lead strategic initiatives linked to the school's Business Plan. You will manage significant projects aimed at systemic improvement, ensuring the development and implementation of aligned systems that drive sustainable, whole-school achievement.
Indigenous Cultural Leadership and Inclusion:
Integrate Indigenous knowledge into the curriculum, build community relationships, advocate for student success, and foster inclusivity. Collaborate on cultural competency training, address systemic barriers, ensure policy compliance, and support culturally responsive teaching for Indigenous students' well-being
