This is a permanent full time position commencing Term 1, 2025.
Kensington Secondary School (KSS) is a unique and integral part of the WA education system, standing as the only secondary school solely dedicated to supporting students with disabilities. Our goal extends beyond traditional academic instruction—our focus is on empowering our students with the essential skills they need to lead meaningful, engaged, and independent lives beyond their school years.
KSS is committed to adopting forward-thinking practices that reflect the evolving needs of our students. We are actively refining our curriculum to align with the Essential for Living framework, with a strong emphasis on the Essential 8 skills.
These Essential 8 skills are at the heart of our educational approach, equipping students with the tools to navigate daily challenges, foster meaningful relationships, and participate actively in their communities. By embedding these skills into our curriculum, we ensure that each student is prepared to transition to adulthood with confidence, independence, and the ability to pursue their personal goals and aspirations.
