The Role
We are seeking dedicated Early Childhood specialists with a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
Teachers who use evidence-based high impact teaching practices and are highly reflective about their teaching practice are highly desirable. A proven ability to provide a caring and supportive learning environment and build effective relationships with all stakeholders is also important.
Suitable applicants should have sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS), as well as a proven knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum. Familiarity with Letters and Sounds, Peggy Lego and Talk 4 Writing is also highly desirable. Applicants who have completed Teachwell or Shaping Minds Professional Learning will be highly regarded.
Suitable applicants will ideally display their professional knowledge, practices, and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant curriculum using a positive, student-focused approach. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a willingness to liaise with colleagues, parents, and external networks to establish strong community partnerships, will be viewed favourably.
The suitable applicants will ideally be enthusiastic individuals that seek opportunities for innovation and ongoing improvement and have the proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
