Rawlinson Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
We are a vibrant school catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 in Marangaroo. Since opening we have developed a tradition of providing students with a caring, inclusive learning environment. The Role
Our school has a genuine, empowered and collaborative staff, committed to agreed whole school approaches and values. Therefore, applicants with knowledge and experience in the following will be highly regarded: Explicit teaching practices within the classroom, PLD Spelling, Seven Steps to Writing, Talk for Writing, Top Ten Maths and Primary Connections Science, knowledge of neurodiversity and Gifted and Talented strategies. The school also has a very hands-on approach to Numeracy, using Top Ten maths and has worked with Dr Paul Swan to establish mathematical language as a priority. Integration of technology into classroom practice, as well as knowledge of the National Quality Standard, play based and activity-based learning, are also attributes expected of all of our teachers so as to allow flexibility in teacher placement across the school.
