We are seeking to establish a pool of Teacher - Kindergarten to Year 6 (K-6) for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
Suitable applicants should ideally have:
- High Expectations: A commitment to unlocking the potential of every student, and to taking responsibility for the success of all students. In this regard the applicant will be open to a culture of teacher observation and feedback.
- Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practices and Programs: understanding the benefits of working in a Professional Learning Community prioritising: ‘Teaching for Impact’, i.e., the impact of learning intentions, explicit teaching, differentiation, structured and sequenced lesson planning. Familiarity with programs such as PLD, Heggerty, Talk for Writing, and Seven Steps is also highly valued. Experience with resources like Oxford Mathematics and Paul Swan initiatives is highly valued.
- Curriculum Knowledge: Strong understanding of the WA Curriculum and the ability to use student data to inform planning and teaching.
- Knowledge of Early Childhood Education: For applicants in Early Childhood, a solid understanding of play-based learning and intentionality, and the Early Years Learning Framework is essential.
Suitable applicants should actively participate in whole school and phase of learning planning and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with parents, students, and colleagues.

Vacancies may arise during the life of this pool that require specialist qualifications (for example vacancies within Early Childhood Education). Only applicants, in the pool, possessing the required qualifications will be considered for appointment in these circumstances.
