The Role
Morley SHS is seeking a dynamic teacher to join their Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) team.
The successful applicant will ideally possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to provide engaging, relevant, and meaningful learning experiences to all students. They should possess a thorough knowledge of the HASS curriculum for Years 7 to 10 and an ability to teach ATAR Economics, Politics and Law, Modern History and/or Geography would be highly sought after.
Ideally, the successful applicant will be highly committed, collaborative and possess a strong ability to work effectively to develop high quality teaching and learning programs to meet the needs of our students and work effectively with our dedicated HASS team. They should actively participate in ongoing professional learning opportunities and continually reflect on their own teaching practice to enhance student engagement and to sustain a culture of high-quality teaching. The successful applicant will work in collaboration with the Head of Learning Area and the HASS team to lead strategies and identified initiatives in HASS that continue to drive a culture of ongoing improvement in relation to student engagement, classroom teaching and student performance across Years 7 to 12.
