We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Camboon Primary School (PS) is an Independent Public School with students from a diverse range of backgrounds and a highly professional team of teachers and education assistants who provide explicit and engaging teaching and learning programs across all learning areas. Each teacher at Camboon PS is part of a collaborative team which ensures teaching and learning programs and assessments are consistent and that staff benefit from the sharing of expertise. Working as part of a team, teaching and non-teaching staff participate in whole school planning processes to plan for and implement consistent curriculum and policy from Kindergarten through to Year 6. The Role
As a school officer, you will be the first point of contact for our students, families, staff and community and as such, a strong focus on customer service is key to this role. Suitable applicants should be professional, positive and friendly, with well-developed communication skills. The ideal candidates should work well in a team environment, display initiative and approach challenges with a growth mindset. Suitable applicants will possess strong organisational skills, a high level of attention to detail with great flexibility to move between tasks and different environments within our school and be able to deliver priority outcomes in a dynamic environment.
Suitable applicants should have the capacity and confidence in a broad range of corporate services functions – including but not limited to; reception, student transition, attendance and enrolment processing.
The School Officer assists with coordinating and negotiating maintenance repairs of school facilities, maintain and order office supplies, distribute and collect documents, forms and mail, and collect and receipt monies in accordance with Departmental procedures. They also assist the Manager Corporate Services with human resource management and support month-end procedures such as transporting receipts to the bank and maintaining data integrity.
Experience in the use of key administrative software – such as Integris, Connect, RM Billing, RM Finance, Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS) and Passtab is desirable but not essential.
