Cloverdale Primary School (PS) is highly regarded by the local community and is part of the Belmont Network of Schools. It is located in the inner metropolitan suburb of Cloverdale, 10kms from the Perth CBD. While Cloverdale Primary School has been an established school within the area for many years, the current Cloverdale Primary School was established with new buildings in 1998 after combining with Whiteside Primary School.

The Role
Cloverdale PS are seeking teachers who pursue excellence in teaching, have high expectations and truly believe that all children can learn and be successful. Suitable applicants will ideally be committed to putting students first in their decision-making and undertake the hard work that is inherent in adhering to a whole school approach to delivering a motivating and quality educational program. They should believe that exemplary, evidence-based teaching practices lead to successful students and high standards of achievement.
Suitable applicants will ideally possess a profound understanding of current curriculum and pedagogy with an emphasis of evidenced based practices in explicit teaching techniques, within the teaching of the K-6 programs; Heggerty, Talk for Writing, Letter and Sounds, and experience in using an explicit Numeracy program. A pedagogical understanding of the Science of Reading, High Impact Teaching Strategies, Daily Reviews together with Cooperative Learning Strategies is preferred, as well as displaying expertise in the use of data driven practices that enable visible targeted differentiation in meeting the needs of all students. A strong understanding of the Western Australia Curriculum is highly regarded. Applicants should ideally be highly motivated, skilled and dedicated educators who are committed to improving literacy and numeracy outcomes for every child, every day, through our whole school approaches, explicit teaching and instructional strategies.
