The Role
The successful applicant should be a passionate Teacher of Humanities and Social Sciences with a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. You will ideally possess professional knowledge, practice, and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant secondary Humanities and Social Sciences curriculum using a positive, student-focused approach, and should have success working with students across a range of ability levels.
The ability to differentiate curriculum and implement innovative approaches to improve outcomes for both high and low achieving students is a key element to this position. The successful applicant will ideally be able to apply the strategies of differentiated instruction and explicit teaching. They should incorporate current and emerging technologies to best meet the needs of our students.
