The Role
Suitable applicants will have the opportunity to apply their expertise of the Health and Physical Education Learning Area across Years 7 to 12. Utilising your knowledge, teaching experience, data literacy skills and monitoring processes, you will ideally encourage and support our students to achieve outstanding results.
Suitable applicants will ideally possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to provide engaging, relevant and meaningful learning experiences to students. You should use self-reflection to assess the effectiveness of your professional practice and be able to establish and maintain a safe and effective learning environment. You will ideally possess knowledge, understanding and expertise in the context of the Health and Physical Education curriculum and pedagogy.
As a highly effective educator you should possess an excellent understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum, assessment and reporting requirements in Lower School and the current Senior School courses. This knowledge combined with pedagogical skills enables the development of programs differentiated for the specific learning needs of all students across the full range of abilities.
