The Role
The Arts and Languages Team at Ashdale SC is a highly effective team, who values collegiality, reflective practice and the pursuit of excellence. Ashdale SC currently offers French and Japanese to students in Years 7 to 10, with plans to expand into senior school courses in the future.
We are seeking qualified educators who are passionate in the delivery of effective and contemporary teaching and learning methods specifically in the French language. The successful applicant will ideally demonstrate a willingness and ability to teach across the range of French Language courses offered and to utilise your experience and knowledge to inspire students with an appreciation of the French language and culture to optimise learning outcomes. The ability to additionally teach Japanese will be highly regarded, although not essential.
Applicants may also be required to teach additional subject areas in the area(s) of their qualifications and expertise. Additional FTE may be negotiated dependent upon other subject areas taught and the operational requirements of the College.
