Upper Swan Primary School (PS) is proud of its more than 120-year history. It has grown from servicing a small rural community to currently welcoming around 420 students. The school is nestled between a vineyard, small farms and the busy transport route of Great Northern Highway. Our families consistently cite the friendly 'rural' community atmosphere, quality of teaching, outcomes for students and the high expectations for positive relationships, as aspects of the school they value.
Our core values of fairness, safety, kindness and honesty are embedded in school culture, framing positive conditions for teaching and learning, high expectations of student conduct and behaviour, and supporting social and emotional development.
