The Role
The successful applicant should display experience in timetabling and maximising the flexibility of the one-line budget in providing creative and flexible solutions for our context. This includes the preparatory work for timetabling, grid development and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
The Program Coordinator – Operations will lead a highly efficient and knowledgeable team that manages various elements of the school operations such as Reporting to Parents, standardised testing and examinations, Student Information Records System (SIRS) and School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCASA) compliance, duty roster, Externally Set Tasks, Saron Education Quality Teachers Assistant (SEQTA), Subject Selection Online, Parent Teacher Online, managing information data bases, data analysis and immunisations. Therefore, to be successful, the Program Coordinator – Operations should be highly organised in their thinking and leadership, able to build capacity in their team and able to promote positive relationships with various stakeholders.
This role requires an applicant who can be self-directed and show high levels of initiative, as well as the ability to work collaboratively, balanced by an understanding of when to seek and take advice. You should have the ability to plan strategically and to identify innovative and practical solutions to problems and challenges in meeting the needs of a large, complex secondary school into the future.
