The Role
Cloverdale PS is seeking a dedicated, highly competent and enthusiastic Music teacher to join our team. We are looking for a teacher who stimulates imaginative and innovative responses and encourages students to reach their creative and expressive potential.
The successful applicant will ideally have an excellent understanding of The Arts – Music WA Curriculum and a capacity to deliver the content in an engaging manner. Experience working with ensembles, choirs and coordinating whole school performances will be highly regarded. The successful applicant should display an ability to lead by taking on roles within the school and being involved in extra-curricular activities, particularly in the area of the Arts. A strong understanding of evidence-based teaching practices, such as explicit teaching pedagogies, differentiated instruction and high impact teaching strategies, should underpin their specialist learning area expertise.
