The Role
Cannington CC are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Performing Arts Teacher to join their friendly team.
The successful applicant will ideally have a strong knowledge of the curriculum and effective teaching approaches across the Peforming Arts Curriculum (Visual Arts, Dance and Drama).
They should be student focused and have strong interpersonal skills while working collaboratively in a Specialist Team. The successful applicant will teach Year One to Year Six students and play an integral role in co-ordinating school wide events that involve student performances.
We seek a highly collaborative Performing Arts Teacher who can ideally work in a team. Our staff have a shared understanding of contemporary quality teaching and whole school pedagogy. Our pedagogical framework focuses on explicit teaching, evidence-based practice, and play-based learning.
We have high expectations of our students and ourselves at the College, and the successful applicant will ideally have equally high standards of professionalism.
