The Role
The successful applicant should have a passion for teaching and have the ability to implement instructional strategies that maximise students’ engagement in their learning and motivate both junior and senior school students to achieve to their full potential. You will ideally be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collegially with other staff.
The successful applicant will ideally have the ability to provide high-quality teaching and learning programs to meet the needs of our students. You should have an excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and be able to teach students of varying ability levels, differentiating the curriculum across Year 7 to 12 in a highly engaging manner. Applicants with minor degrees in Science should also apply.
Primary qualified teachers with secondary teaching experience or a willingness to work in the secondary space are encouraged to apply!

Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south west teachers
Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the 3-year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.
