The Role
The Senior Cleaner in Charge (SCIC) is responsible for inducting, training, leading, and managing cleaning staff including relief staff; monitoring and ordering stock supplies within your budget; maintenance and stocktake of cleaning equipment; undertaking daily cleaning of the allocated internal and external areas; opening and locking the college, including setting the security alarm systems; and daily communication to the Assistant Manager Corporate Services.
ASC are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and motivated SCIC. The ideal applicant will have good attention to detail and will be able to lead a large cleaning team and work well with others to ensure a clean and safe school environment. You will ideally be organised, reliable and punctual. The applicant should work well both individually and as part of a team and hold strong ethical and accountability values, along with having an excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods and practices.
