The Role
Leda ESC is seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic School Officer who shows initiative and can work independently as well as collaboratively within an innovative team. Being the first point of contact and the face of the school, the successful applicant should have excellent interpersonal skills to continue to develop relationships across the school community, internally and externally.
The School Officer undertakes administrative roles which are essential in supporting the delivery of high-quality education. A well-rounded experience is desirable, and the successful applicant will have the opportunity for growth and to develop skills through a combination of mentoring and professional learning opportunities. With your keen attention to detail and a willingness to be flexible, you will work alongside the Manager Corporate Services to administer the school's financial, human, and physical resources.
Ideally the school officer can effectively prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure with high level accuracy and attention to detail will ensure accurate and timely processing of a range of administrative and financial functions including maintaining relevant business information management systems. You will support the Manager Corporate Services in undertaking planning, monitoring, research, reporting and analysis to meet established objectives and outcomes relative to business needs and plans. As a school that utilises technology to enhance service delivery of business operations, experience in using spreadsheets and other business and school management software is highly desirable.
