The Role
The prime focus for this position is for the successful applicant to provide training for our students linked to the Trade Training Centre program – that is converted to Narrogin Senior High School (SHS) Hospitality Hilltop Café one day per week. The applicant will assist students to complete Certificate II in Hospitality.
The successful applicant should be organised, solutions focused with a broad range of skills and strategies to meet a range of students’ learning needs, interests, and abilities. The successful applicant should also be competent in the use of technology and have sound communication and effective interpersonal skills.
The Vocational Trainer and Assessor will ideally have experience in the delivery of Workplace Skills related training programs and possess the ability to establish networks with industry and businesses to support meaningful and relevant learning opportunities for students.
This Trade Trading Centre facility is based on industry standards and has state of the art kitchen facilities. The venue is located on school grounds and within a beautiful bush environment. The program is supported by staff and community. The successful applicant for this role will be incredibly organised, efficient and display good time management skills. They should also display experience in hospitality and allow for the smooth operation of food services.
This position is ideally suited to an applicant who is willing to relocate to a vibrant country town and become a part of a wonderful community
