Ridge View Secondary College (SC) is seeking to appoint a dedicated, highly competent, and enthusiastic Design and Technologies teacher with excellent interpersonal skills. The Role
The successful applicant should be committed to promoting Design and Technologies education and fostering student engagement in a supportive environment where success is celebrated. There is opportunity to contribute to the planning and design of upper school pathways and courses in preparation for upper school students. The successful applicant will ideally have experience teaching across a range of Design and Technologies subject areas and as well as delivering Vocational Educational and Training Programs. Holding a Certificate II in Engineering Pathways and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment will be highly regarded but not essential.
Flexibility in a new and growing college is critical, as well as a commitment to personal and professional growth. Instructional coaching, observation and feedback are a priority for the college and therefore we are seeking a teacher that will have a growth mindset and a desire for continuous improvement. The successful applicant will ideally possess high standards of professionalism and will embrace opportunities for collaboration within and beyond the college community. The ability to work positively and effectively in teams and be open to new thinking is highly desirable.
