The Role
We are seeking to appoint a highly proficient, driven, and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team. Suitable applications will ideally have prior experience working in large, fast-paced school environments and will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
The School Psychologist is an integral member of the school’s Student Services team and works collaboratively with staff to maximise outcomes for students through the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support. The ability to work independently, in a team environment, possess extensive knowledge in managing complex needs as well as proactively engage and build relationships with students, families, and external agencies to strengthen partnerships is highly desirable.
The School Psychologist will assist with the development and implementation of school-based support services and programs, conduct assessments and support the development of plans to meet the needs of individuals. They will be required to provide professional learning to both staff and community in the areas of mental health, behaviour support, learning and student engagement.

- High level written and oral communication skills, demonstrating the capacity to produce correspondence, reports and case notes, and interview and training (facilitation) skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, which demonstrate an ability to function in a self-directed way, and as a member of an interdisciplinary team, working with a range of clients across the lifespan, Department personnel and inter-agency partners across a variety of contexts.
- Ability to apply analytical and conceptual skills to issues identification, risk assessment and analysis, intervention and evaluation.
