Glen Forrest Primary School is an independent K - 6 school located in a beautiful bush setting and with a welcoming and active community behind us. Our motto, 'Proud to Belong' is an integral part of our school culture.
Students are actively taught expected behaviours as well as social skills, and our behaviour management is deeply rooted within an educative, reflective, and restorative framework. We celebrate students' positive choices using a school-wide system and frequently acknowledge successes. Our staff are highly committed to both student wellbeing and academic progress and achievement. We are invested in the principles of the science of learning, using evidence-based practise and school-wide programs, explicit instruction and setting high expectations for all students. We engage regularly with the department's Teaching for Impact document, consistently striving to refine our strategies for best results.
