This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 4, 2024.

The Role
Churchlands SHS is seeking an individual who is knowledgeable, adaptable, resilient, resourceful and who can develop and maintain positive relationships with a variety of stakeholder in our fast-paced school environment. The Network Administrator provides input on system enhancements and implement new systems through research and identification of appropriate ICT resources. Your ability to apply conceptual and analytical thought processes and develop innovative solutions will be vital to your success. Churchlands SHS prides itself on its use of cutting-edge technology and the successful applicant should display their ability to research and implement best practice in utilising ICT to enhance student learning to maintain Churchlands SHS as a leading school of technology.
The successful applicant should ideally have knowledge of hardware, software and other information technology resources. This includes an ability to configure and implement Cisco hardware, firewalls, Windows servers and ability to improve the cyber security footprint of the Churchlands SHS network. Customer service is a key skill that the successful applicant should possess.
This role provides advice to staff on technical issues associated with the network system and provides technical support and training to all users. As a Network Administrator you should have the ability to work with staff in building their capacity to use technologies and be able to provide a high level of technical support to staff and students to ensure positive outcomes. You should have well developed interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to show initiative and work autonomously.
