The Role
As a School Officer you should have a thorough understanding of how to apply customer service principles and practices and will ideally possess excellent communication and clerical skills to work in collaboration with our administrative team. The successful applicant will ideally have strong organisational skills, the flexibility to move between tasks and deliver outcomes while working to deadlines in a complex and fast paced environment. Suitable applicants will undertake reception duties including greeting visitors, answering the telephone and responding to routine enquiries and requests for information in an efficient and friendly manner.
As our School Officer, your duties may include assisting the Manager Corporate Services to maintain the financial position of the school, handling front desk inquiries and collaborating with all staff on daily operations with a high level of integrity and confidentiality. You should also possess a positive approach to the role and the ability to learn new skills and processes when needed. In addition, you will support student-related activities such as assisting with student enrolment procedures and operate a range of software packages - such as SIS (School Information System), RM Billing, HRMIS (Human Resource Management System) and Microsoft Office to complete their daily work. Experience in Compass would be highly favourable.
