The Role
John Tonkin College is seeking to appoint a dedicated, innovative and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher to join their team. The role will also include teaching of Home Economics.
The successful applicant should have a passion for secondary education, a positive attitude and a willingness to work with like-minded people. To be successful in this role, you would be committed and willing to be an active contributor to learning area initiatives and strategies for improving teaching and learning. You should also be team focussed and work to achieve whole-school and learning area targets.
The successful applicant should possess an excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and be able to teach students of varying ability levels across Years 7 to 12 in a highly engaging manner. We are seeking a teacher who is passionate about teaching Design and Technology to both lower school and senior school students.
