We are seeking to establish a pool of Teachers - Kindergarten to Year 6 (K-6) for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
Suitable applicants will ideally be passionate, motivated, and skilled educators who are committed to improving literacy and numeracy outcomes for every child, every day, through our whole school approaches, explicit teaching and instructional strategies. The capacity to develop motivating and quality evidence based educational programs that put students first is expected. Applicants should possess a strong capacity to plan challenging and engaging programs using an excellent understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum. Knowledge and experience in the successful implementation of Letters & Sounds and Talk 4 Writing is desirable. Confidence using digital technologies across the curriculum to create innovative learning experiences that enhance student outcomes would be an advantage.
The capacity to effectively manage and implement whole school assessment and reporting tools to track student achievement is essential. Ideally, you will have the capacity to use this data to address the specific needs of all students to provide targeted pathways for learning, in alignment with school priorities, and be comfortable discussing student data with your colleagues in the team environment.
An ability to effectively develop positive relationships with students and proactively and positively manage student behaviour is important. It is highly desirable that applicants are committed to developing positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the wider community.

- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.

Vacancies may arise during the life of this pool that require specialist qualifications (for example vacancies within Early Childhood Education). Only applicants, in the pool, possessing the required qualifications will be considered for appointment in these circumstances.
