This is a permanent part-time (0.4FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2025.
Lake Gwelup Primary School (PS) is in the heart of a unique community. The school is characterised by a strong sense of belonging which can be attributed to the positive relationships between the students, parents, teachers, and the broader community. Our school community is proud of its rich history. In 1914, Miss Ella Miller, the Principal, opened the school with an enrolment of 24 students. The original schoolhouse still stands at the front of the now fully rebuilt school.

The Role
The successful applicant should be a dynamic and innovative leader with the ability to work collaboratively with the school’s leadership team, staff and the community to ensure positive progress and outcomes for all students. You should contribute to the leadership of our school culture and promote learning that is supported by a deep belief that every student is capable of success.
You should have the capacity and resilience to develop others while working collaboratively to ensure whole school initiatives and Business Plan targets are achieved. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have highly developed knowledge of the Western Australian curriculum in addition to knowledge of current research and evidence-based practices. A capacity to link learning across curriculum areas and the cross curriculum priorities is highly desirable. Strong evidence of successful change management strategies and management of school Information and Communication Technology (ICT) resources would be highly regarded.
