This is a permanent part-time (0.5FTE) position commencing ASAP
Statewide Services provides the services and supports required by schools to enable student achievement, with a focus on those students and schools that need it most. It encompasses both school and system-facing service delivery. While it primarily exists to support schools, it also has an important system-facing role supporting strategy and policy development.
The Role
The Librarian provides a resource information service for schools and all client groups. They supervise the resource centre operations and the provision of reference information and associated services to all client groups.
If successful, you will provide online support services, including booking systems, electronic library and digital media resources. It will be your responsibility to manage the integrity of the resource centre system to ensure records are current and resources are maintained and processed so they are accessible and available.
