The Role
Bunbury SHS is seeking a dedicated and passionate Program Coordinator - Mathematics to join our high-performing leadership team.
As the successful applicant, you will be an exemplary classroom practitioner who can lead the implementation of excellence in teaching practice within the Mathematics team. You will have a proven ability to develop and implement programs that connect student needs and interests to their learning experiences. A key focus of the role will be to implement effective differentiation strategies to cater to the diverse needs of all students, this also includes students in the Gifted and Talented Program.
Your strong partnerships with primary schools will be instrumental in developing numeracy skills in students before they begin at Bunbury SHS. A proven ability to collaborate with other Heads of Learning and the school Executive Team will be essential in achieving the school’s broader objectives. This includes ensuring the Mathematics learning area plans align with the schools strategic direction.
With a keen eye for data analysis, you will use data and evidence-based practice to improve student learning outcomes. You will also be a skilled leader, inspiring and motivating a team of dedicated Mathematics teachers to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
