This is a 6-month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 4, 2025 with possible extension (6 months) and/or permanency.

The Role
As the successful applicant, you will assist the Manager Corporate Services in managing the school's financial resources, including account and GST coding, reconciliations, invoice processing, and BAS/FREDA returns. You will support month-end procedures, including ensuring data integrity and handling bank deposits, as well as collating figures for financial planning and budgeting. Strong financial management experience, particularly in Accounts Payable, Hire of Facilities, End of Month (EOM) processes, and event reconciliation, is essential. Experience in RM Finance, Assets, and Compass software is highly desirable.
As the successful applicant, you will aid in managing school assets, and out-of-hours facility use. The role also includes advising staff on travel, subsidies, and allowances, managing databases, financial registers and records. Additonally, you will establish procedures for ordering office consumables, create materials for publication, and conduct routine analyses and reporting.
The successful applicant will ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive materials and develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
