Maddington Education Support Centre (MESC) are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2025. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
As the School Officer you will be the first point of contact and will ideally be able to display a welcoming culture to our school and community. Suitable applicants should be team players and present excellent customer services skills. They should be highly motivated and able to work in a busy environment in partnership with the administration team, possess ability to prioritise administration tasks and work well under pressure. Suitable applicants should have a friendly, positive, and caring attitude and possess the qualities to promote excellence within our school and to interact with parents and the wider community.
Suitable applicants will complete student enrolment procedures and operate a range of software packages such as Human Resources Management Information System (HRMIS), Resource Management (RM) Billing, Student Information System (SIS), Compass and Microsoft Suite applications, particularly databases and word processing, experience in the role and using this software will be an advantage.

- Demonstrated ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
- Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
