The Role
The Cleaner in Charge (CIC) is responsible for training, leading, motivating and managing cleaning staff including relief staff; monitoring and ordering stock supplies within your budget; maintenance and stocktake of cleaning equipment; undertaking cleaning of allocated internal and external areas; opening and locking the School and setting the security alarm system.
The ideal applicant will have good attention to detail and will be able to work well with others to ensure a clean and safe school environment. You will ideally be organised, reliable and punctual. The applicant should work well both individually and as part of a team, motivating others. You will ideally be a good communicator and be able to negotiate solutions that meet school and individual expectations. You should have excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods and practices.
