We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Assistant - Mainstream for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
The suitable applicants should display the ability to communicate effectively, be able to assist the teacher in the delivery of planned education programs, and, under teacher direction, implement individual or small group programs or demonstrations. The suitable applicants should be organised and use their initiative to assist with the preparation and maintenance of the safe learning environment.
Suitable applicants should display the ability to cater for diverse learning needs of students, and a dynamic and highly collaborative approach to meet the needs of all students. In addition, modelling, developing, and implementing exemplary and innovative classroom practices are skills that are vital to this role.
The suitable applicants will ideally be flexible, open to change and committed. We value staff who are creative in their use of resources and strategies and can do so independently or in response to direction from teachers. An ability to work effectively with different staff, teaching styles and learning activities, with initiative, is highly desirable.
