We are seeking to establish a pool of Assistant Cleaner in Charge for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year and up to the end of Term 4, 2025. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
Suitable applicants will be responsible for assisting with inductions for new staff, liaising with the Cleaner in Charge and Manager Corporate Services (MCS), and carrying out significant cleaning of internal and external areas. They should have an up-to-date knowledge of specialised cleaning techniques, be familiar with a range of cleaning equipment and recognise and interpret Material Safety Data Sheets.
Suitable applicants will be responsible for highlighting issues and concerns on behalf of cleaners and respond to issues raised by other staff. They will ideally be proactive, communicate well, work effectively with others, and be organised. They should be adaptable, motivated, and capable of both teamwork and independent work.
