Located on the Albany Highway between Perth and Albany, Kojonup District High School has over 230 students with added bonus of a 480-acre school farm close by. All year levels love to visit the farm and it forms an integral part of our students' learning journey whilst at the school. Sustainability and pathway planning programs are influenced by our farm environment, as are waste-wise practices, animal husbandry and paddock to plate understandings.

The Role
As a member of our team, you will ideally be a conscientious, flexible and innovative teacher who is committed to the development of the whole student. You will ideally be actively involved both within the school and wider community, highly reflective of your teaching practices and committed to evidence-based decision making and differentiation.
Applicants will ideally be motivated, possessing the ability to teach secondary science and will be knowledgeable of the Western Australian Curriculum. As a science teacher you will deliver a differentiated curriculum which meets the needs of all students and have an expectation that all students can reach their potential. Mobility appointments for permanent, metropolitan and south west teachers
Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the 3-year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.
