We are seeking to establish a pool of Cleaners for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year and up to the end of Term 4, 2025. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Harrisdale Primary School (PS) opened its doors to students for the first time on February 1st, 2016. It caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 and is currently one of the largest Primary Schools in the state.
The school is located in the rapidly growing suburb of Harrisdale and is bordered by natural bushland to the east, sporting grounds to the south and housing developments to the remaining boundaries. The student population is indicative of a diverse multi-cultural demographic with many nationalities represented.

The Role
As Cleaner, your responsibilities will include cleaning of toilets, windows, furniture and fittings, internal maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, dusting, rubbish removal and other items of general cleaning. In addition, you will also carry out external cleaning duties, including the cleaning of verandas and covered areas, drinking troughs, and windows, the removal of cobwebs, rubbish disposal, general cleaning and other such duties as the Cleaner in Charge requires.
