The Role
Swan View Senior High School is seeking to appoint an energetic and motivated individual to fill the role of Teacher - Health and Physical Education and join their friendly team.
The successful applicant shall ideally be highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic in the promotion of Health and Physical Education within the school and will be required to teach across the various contexts within the learning area. They should be well organised, motivated and committed to developing positive relationships and high expectations for all students.
Knowledge and competency in the Health and Physical Education component of the Western Australian (WA) Curriculum and reporting schedule is highly desirable. Experience teaching Health Studies to senior school students and providing support with curriculum development in lower school health is highly desirable. The ability to teach Certificate courses would also be an advantage for this position.
