The Role
The Student Support Coordinator (Attendance Officer) will be a key member of the Wellbeing Team and will be integral in supporting the implementation of attendance intervention strategies in the multi-tiered systems approach of SRC. The role requires the use of comprehensive interpersonal skills to work within a dynamic team, create and maintain working partnerships with appropriate internal and external agencies, productive relationships with students and transparent communications with parents. In a low SES context faced with a range of complexities the role requires a strong understanding of legislative requirements that are monitored and followed up in an organised manner. The preferred applicant will have well developed and flexible communication skills to work in the ever changing attendance context.
