We are seeking to establish a pool of Teacher K-6 for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year and up to the end of Term 4, 2025. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Wirrabirra Primary School (PS) is an Independent Public School situated in the Perth metropolitan area. We cater for students in Kindergarten to Year Six. Our school campus has shared facilities with an Education Support Centre and operates an inclusive program for all students. This enables the education programs for students to be supported by teacher expertise from the Primary School and Education Support Centre.
The staff of Wirrabirra PS has a wide range of experience from varied backgrounds in education. All staff undertake regular professional learning on current trends and programs particular to our school. This staff expertise and experience allows the school to operate specialist programs in Science, Physical Education, Music, LOTE (Indonesian), Library and ICT Capabilities.

The Role
We are actively seeking Teachers K-6 with exceptional interpersonal skills, possessing a natural ability to communicate effectively and foster genuine relationships with parents, students, and colleagues. Suitable applicants will ideally display that they have a restorative approach towards behaviour support and are able to uphold the practices, values, and strategies in line with trauma informed practice.
Suitable applicants will ideally actively engage in self-refection to improve their practice and engage in observation and feedback practices to develop their understanding of our whole school programs and pedagogy.
