Woodvale Secondary College (SC) is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and dedicated Business Education and Careers teacher to join their friendly and dynamic team

The Role
The successful applicant will ideally be a motivated teacher passionate about shaping students’ futures. They should possess excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and a repertoire of teaching strategies to engage students, ideally having knowledge of and experience in, a range of instructional strategies and tactics. Strong knowledge and skills in the delivery of Certificate II in Workplace Skills, Certificate III in Business is highly desirable. Experience in lower school digital technologies and General Careers and Employability is desirable.
As a reflective practitioner, the successful applicant will ideally possess effective data literacy knowledge and skills; and a capacity to modify their practice to meet identified student needs. The capacity to engage in the development and implementation of innovative classroom practices, including integration of information technology into the curriculum, will be highly regarded. They will ideally engage in 21st Century learning practices and share these practices with their colleagues.
The successful applicant should provide excellence in creating and maintaining a supportive and safe learning environment. They will provide educational opportunities and activities which enable students to achieve their highest potential. They will ideally recognise students as individuals and foster opportunities for all students to develop into effective young adults.
