This is a permanent part-time (0.2 FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2025.
This position is for a music specialist and therefore the successful applicant will ideally be proficient in teaching music to students with high educational needs.

The successful applicant should be committed to making a difference in the lives of young people. They should be motivated, practical, hardworking, innovative and possess outstanding interpersonal skills. The successful applicant should also be passionate about teaching music to students with high educational needs.
The successful applicant should pursue excellence in classroom teaching, in particular when working with students with high needs. Suitable applicants will ideally make student achievement the core of their work. Additionally, a positive attitude and an appetite for challenge are desired. You should also possess excellent classroom practice, focusing on innovation and classroom management based on positive partnerships between students, education assistants, teachers, and parents.
It would be advantageous for the suitable applicants to have the ability to cope well with frequent unpredictability and flexible enough to adapt to the changing needs of the students. You should have a strong team spirit and ability to collaborate with all staff members.
