The Role
Applicants will ideally have ability to form relationships with students, staff and parents and can confidently and calmly lead in complex situations. Positive communication, goal oriented and motivated to improve educational outcomes for students, staff, parents and outside agencies to deliver high level outcomes for all students, every day, utilising their curriculum knowledge to assist staff with differentiating the curriculum to support the needs of the students. The successful applicant will ideally have the ability to self-reflect, promote an environment of active and positive behaviour management, use data to drive decisions and support staff with strategies. As the Year 3-6 Deputy Principal, you should be flexible, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment alongside the Kindergarten to Year 2 Deputy Principal. Knowledge of Back2Front Maths, Promoting Literacy Development (PLD), Seven Steps for Writing, PBS, Disability Resourcing System and strong data analysis skills would be highly regarded.
