This is a twelve (12) month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025 with possible extension.
Wiluna Remote Community School (RCS) is looking for an enthusiastic and culturally responsive Deputy Principal, who is committed to achieving the best educational outcomes for our students.

The Role
The successful applicant will ideally work as part of a dedicated team and have the opportunity to make a lasting contribution to our school community. The successful applicant will ideally have outstanding interpersonal skills and be a collaborative team administrator.
As Deputy Principal - Primary, the successful applicant will ideally establish and sustain effective collaborative approaches to lead whole school improvement, instructional practice and curriculum development. In this role you will oversee the Scaling Up Success Initiative. The ability to analyse data to inform teaching and learning and use Information Communication Technology (ICT) effectively is highly desirable. The successful applicant should ideally have strong interpersonal and cultural responsiveness skills when working with parents and stakeholders and the ability to engage with students from years K-12.
Ideally the successful applicant will be a Deputy Principal - Primary who is a high-quality educator, able to provide coaching and feedback to our teaching staff. Experience in trauma-informed practice is highly desirable as well as working with and establishing plans for Students at Educational Risk.
The Primary school Deputy Principal will ideally be responsible for managing and improving the primary school attendance and monitoring in-town transiency.
