We are seeking to establish a pool of Mainstream Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
As a Mainstream Education Assistant you should have a passion for working with students and have highly developed organisational and interpersonal skills. Suitable applicants will ideally be committed to achieving the best educational outcomes for our students. This role may have you work as part of a dedicated team and provides you with the opportunity to make a lasting contribution to our school community. You may be working across a range of classrooms therefore the ability to be flexible will be an advantage, especially as the school grows in size. Our School
Eglinton Beach Primary School (PS) is situated on Whadjuk Noongar Boodjar and opens for Kindy to Year Six students in 2025. We have a vision to create an inclusive school where every child can succeed. The Role
Eglinton Beach PS is excited to welcome Mainstream Education Assistants to our dynamic and supportive team. We are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where every student is encouraged to reach their full potential. If you are passionate about fostering a positive educational experience and supporting student learning, we would love to hear from you.
In this role, you will assist teachers with the delivery of engaging classroom instruction and provide targeted support to students as needed. Your focus will be on creating a positive learning environment that caters to diverse needs and promotes student growth. Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with teachers, students, and families to support the educational goals of the school. We value adaptability and initiative, so being proactive in responding to student needs and adapting to various classroom situations will be crucial.
Sound communication skills are essential, as you will need to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents. Your role will involve helping to implement lesson plans and classroom activities, providing one-on-one or small group support as directed by the teacher, and contributing to an inclusive and engaging learning atmosphere. Monitoring and reporting on student progress and behaviour will also be part of your responsibilities.
