This is a twelve (12) month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025 with possible extension and/or permanency.
Woodlands Primary School (PS) is a well-established K-6 school built on a strong foundation of shared values and a commitment to developing the whole child. The school has a contemporary, evidence-based approach to teaching which delivers effective learning experiences for students. Staff work collaboratively in Phase of Learning Teams to ensure consistency in whole school approaches that are differentiated to meet the needs of every student.
The school provides a balance of rigorous, explicit teaching and learning programs together with opportunities for play-based and inquiry learning approaches. Specialist programs include Science, Music, Art, Japanese and Physical Education. Students participate in a range of school, interschool and community-based events in sport, instrumental music, and choir.
Our embedded Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) program cultivates the development of the four school values of Belonging, Respect, Humanity and Possibilities in our students. We believe that by promoting these values, students will be better prepared for the challenges and possibilities the future holds.
